When you apply to adopt from Genesis Animal Welfare Inc, we will interview you to find out what sort of pet you would like and if we have a match for you. Our animals are carefully evaluated by foster carers. This way we know the type of temperament an animal has. This is especially important if you have children and other pets.

Opting for adoption as opposed to procuring a pet from a breeder not only presents a more economical choice but also guarantees a higher level of dependability. Every animal entrusted to our care undergoes a comprehensive regimen, including microchipping, desexing, worming, and vaccination, ensuring their health and well-being. Furthermore, their tenure in nurturing foster environments facilitates crucial socialization, equipping them with the necessary skills and confidence for a smooth transition into their forever homes.

We are fully committed to ensuring that the adoption process is as smooth and stress-free as possible for you. Our team goes above and beyond to provide support every step of the way. In the initial two weeks following adoption, our dedicated veterinarian offers a complimentary consultation to address any health concerns that may arise, giving you peace of mind. Additionally, the foster caregiver who has nurtured your pet is available to offer guidance and assistance should you have any questions or need advice.
Should you encounter any unexpected challenges or issues with your pet, we encourage open communication with the foster caregiver. Together, we can work towards finding solutions and ensuring the well-being of your furry companion. In the rare event that returning your pet becomes necessary, we will assist you through the process with compassion and understanding.
However, our ultimate hope is that your pet settles into their new home beautifully, bringing joy and companionship to your life. We eagerly anticipate hearing updates about your pet’s adventures and milestones as they become an integral part of your family.
The adoption fees are $200 for adult cats and $480 for adult dogs.
This is on a case by case basis. We will discuss this with you from the outset.
